PERSPECTIVES

BOLIVIA

Bolivia is the highest and most isolated country in South America and it is one of the wettest countries in the world. The guinea pig is a delicacy in Bolivia and is usually served whole. I only had two days to spend in Bolivia and I will be back one day to finish my bucketlist!

ABSOLUTE MUSTS

Explore the City of
La Paz

As the highest capital city in the world, La Paz is home to 100-year old churches, museums, and colourful markets. Visit The Witches’ Market, where locals sell charms and potions, as well as souvenirs.

Bike the Death Road

Known as the worlds deadliest road, this road is now an adventure for thrill-seekers. This 64km road reported an average of 200-300 deaths per year in the 1980’s.  It’s narrow (single lane width) sections, combined with its bumpy hairpin turns, and downhill speeds give this road good reason to be named Death Road. Take a trip down this mountainous, winding road and enjoy the scenery, but don’t forget to keep your eyes on the road!
